High strength, professional-quality approved for amateur use, an insecticidal powder containing permethrin for the control of wasp nests in and around buildings.

Can be used directly from the bottle or can be decanted to a range of hand or large dusters for treatment of wasps from a distance. Apply insecticide powder directly to the nest to gain control.

Treatment of visible nests

If the nest is visible, the user should apply a cloud around the outer layer of the nest. For fast control, we recommend either puffing insecticidal powder through the main entrance to the nest, if visible or injection into the side of the nest (applicator recommended). Treatment of the outer layer will normally be sufficient; however, instant results are unlikely. 

Treatment when no nest visible

We recommend users attempt to find the find as direct treatment is highly recommended.

Users should apply powder to all visible entrance points as well as adjacent cracks and crevices around the area of activity. We recommend using gently puffs to create a cloud to leave a light layer of powder compared to a heap otherwise wasps will likely avoid and find an alternative source of entry.

Wasps will pick up the powder on the floor and take into the nest. This method will only be successful if the worker wasps directly take the powder into the nest to contaminate the queen indirectly, and multiply attempts may be required.

Important Info

Undertake a risk assessment before undertaking control works. Users should wear adequate clothing to prevent stings. We recommend control measures should be taken at night when workers are not as active. If in doubt, use a professional pest control operator.

Full control of a wasp nest can only be obtained by killing the queen wasp. Wasp nests that have been directly treated with insecticidal powder will die within 2-6 hours depending on size; however, some stragglers will remain active for several days after the treatment. If the nest cannot be directly treated the duration of the control can be significantly more depending on the location of the wasp nest past the point of entry. We recommend re-treating wasps nest every 48 hours until activity ceases.
