Delays are expected due to a series of Royal Mail strikes. This includes Parcelforce which is a subsidiary of the Royal Mail group.
The Communication Workers Union has announced it has withdrawn planned strike action in the next two weeks (2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 November).
The latest information on the strike can be found here: https://www.royalmail.com/latest-news
We ship the majority of orders through the Royal Mail system as this is normally a more reliable service compared to low-budget alternatives. Delays should be expected throughout the strike periods, we have tried to minimise any long-term delays, this includes dispatching orders until the last possible collection available. Royal Mail have confirmed to us that they are taking active steps into reducing the impact of the strikes, this includes delivering as many Tracked parcels as possible.
Due to the number of shipments undertaken we have a direct collection from the regional dispatch office, this allows us to bypass the local sorting offices and minimises any delay within the system.
