Rat bait boxes are a simple device to hold rodenticide bait or snap traps to prevent non-target access whilst complying with the new regulations on the safe use of rodenticide. Rat bait boxes have larger holes on the side of the boxes that allow free-flow of rats whilst preventing larger non-target access; they are however not indestructible so should be used with caution if larger more determined animals are present.
Bait boxes also commonly known as stations are tamper-resistant and require a key to access; most boxes have an internal chamber that will hold the full range of rodenticides or traps. Some boxes are specific solely to rodenticides or traps and may not be interchangeable.
