In the UK we have some bird species that can become a nuisance within and around buildings and can therefore considered a pest. These birds include pigeons, gulls, starlings and sparrows. All birds are protected by law and prevention work should only be carried out if the birds are no longer present. It is therefore imperative that a thorough survey is carried out prior to prevention work taking place.
