Contract
All Fort Products Limited orders are accepted on the terms and conditions contained herein unless these terms are varied in writing by an authorised officer of the company.
Application of Products
Fort Products Limited can accept no responsibility for the incorrect application of products and any damage this may cause as a result, unless Fort Products Limited carried out the installation. If damage arises as a result of an Installation by Fort Products Limited, a full report of the damage must be submitted in writing within 5 days of the damage occurring. Fort Products Limited will carry out a full inspection, and an agreed course of action will be discussed.
Guarantees and Liability
Fort Products Limited can under no circumstances guarantee the effectiveness of any product sold unless an approved Fort Products Limited technician has installed it. Under no circumstances can Fort Products Limited accept liability for any losses incurred as a result of incorrect installation or failure of the product to produce the desired effect. Fort Products Limited staff will be happy to advise on products for certain situations. Still, it will accept no responsibility unless a Fort Products Limited representative has carried out a site visit before the purchase of goods.
Orders
The contract to supply is between Fort Products Limited and the private individual or company placing the order. Fort Products Limited reserves the right to refuse to accept the purchaser’s order. No order is valid until confirmation has been sent to the purchaser.
Payment Terms
No Fort Products Limited goods will be sent out until payment has been received. Credit/debit card details must be authorised or cheques cleared.
Prices
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and carriage, where this is applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice; this will not affect orders placed before changes are implemented.
Carriage – UK Mainland
Free shipping is available for all orders above £50. Orders received by 3pm on Monday – Friday are shipped the same day. Orders received after 3pm will be shipped the following business day.
Special Deliveries (includes timed deliveries and weekend deliveries)
Please call our customer service team to arrange special deliveries. All special deliveries will incur carriage charges regardless of value. We offer express delivery, for the express delivery option orders received before 3.00pm (Monday – Friday) will be processed and dispatched on a priority basis that day to ensure it reaches you within 1 or 2 working days. We do not offer weekend deliveries.
Carriage Charges – Overseas
For international orders please contact us. Presently we only offer UK delivery through this website.
Delivery Address
Deliveries can only be made to a full postal address, which has a complete postal code. Where an order must be signed for, if no one is available to sign at the time of delivery, then a delivery card will be left stating that a delivery was attempted. Another attempt will be made the following day. Delivery will be attempted no more than three times, after which the goods will be returned to the warehouse, and a further delivery charge will be payable.
Failure To Deliver Or Failure To Deliver On Time
Fort Products Limited can accept no responsibility whatsoever for circumstances arising from the failure of the carrier to deliver goods or to deliver by an agreed time. Where it can be proved that the carrier was at fault, the only compensation that can be paid will be the costs of the carriage.
