Mouse Traps

Controlling mice with traps is a straightforward alternative to poisons with an extensive and proven history of success. Mouse traps from various brands often look remarkably similar; however, the strength and quality of the traps often vary; at ProPest, we only sell traps with a proven history of humane and durable success.

Users should be aware that mouse trapping can be more complicated than rodenticides and often require monitoring and emptying as it’s not best practice to let a mouse decay in a trap. In addition, mice are neophobic and often will be wary of traps (or boxes) for a while after placement, so users should expect an initial delay between placement and the first kill.

Often a tricky part of trapping is using an appropriate bait; sadly, we don’t have a definite answer as all mice tastes are different; however, the best results are either one of the below attractant baits, chocolate spread, crunchy peanut butter or tuna!
