At ProPest we understand the environmental importance to minimise our carbon footprint, and we have taken significant steps over the years to seek quality products that are both designed and manufactured within the UK; this can lead to huge benefits over sourcing from overseas, including superior products designed specifically for the British pest control industry, lower waste (especially plastic) and minimising cost fluctuations that are often an encountered issue post-Brexit.
British-made products include all rodenticides, insecticides, baiting stations, aerosols, bird netting and fly zapper units. The majority of Rentokil, Roshield, and Entopest products are UK sourced.
Specific pest control products are also manufactured from recycled plastics, in particular, Roshield bait stations, which uniquely use plastics sourced directly from old car dashboards and bumpers!
When unavailable, we actively look for products that are as close as possible to the UK, usually, this is the EU with specific products such as Roshield rodent proofing paste, which is made in the Netherlands or Entopest cockroach traps from Poland.
We can’t however source all products locally, either due to the bespoke nature or high manufacturing cost. An example would be rat traps and in particular, the Black Cat Rat Trap – a unique patented design sourced from India.

Insect-a-clear Nano G4 LED Fly Killer
The Insect-a-clear range of fly killers are used widely within the food industry as a method to remove pest flies from commercial kitchens; the majority of the products are designed and manufactured within the UK. The Nano G4 is a glue board type machine which means it instantly captures flies and avoids the zap from traditional grid machines that can often result in insects bits being discharged from the unit!
The Nano G4 is one of the most popular devices on the market as it contains all the features to comply with both safety food standards as well as compliance to the latest UK/EU regulations. The machine is available in a white or stainless steel finish.
Roshield Baiter Rodent Box Stations
The Roshield Baiter is one of the most popular tamper-resistant bait stations within the UK; the universal design allows for both rat traps and rodenticide to be used safely within the internal chambers. The box is made in the UK from recycled plastics sourced from old car dashboards and bumpers, a unique manufacturing process that reduces the carbon footprint of the product.
Designed to be used primarily outside the box is an excellent method to safely use rodenticide and traps away from non-target animals. The box helps users comply with the latest regulations over the safe use of rodenticide; this is important as all amateur users must use a tamper-resistant bait box.
Roshield ProVent Mouse Proofing Grill
The mouse and insect proofing mesh vent cover is an excellent tool designed to prevent the initial ingress of pests within properties; the vent cover is designed to be placed over the top of standard UK air bricks and can easily be fitted using screws or adhesive.
Designed and manufactured in the UK the cover is an extremely important tool in the prevention of pests and the avoidance of using products such as rodenticide. It is now standard for most professional pest control operators to install a mesh vent to a property after a pest treatment has been undertaken. Available in 4 different colours including Brown, Black, Dark Grey & White.
Entopest Clothes Moth Hangers
Moth hangers are a useful accessories for when using pheromone glue pads within properties; the universal and slim design allows for their placement within a range of areas including hanging in wardrobes and placement under heavy furniture such as wardrobes and sofas. The design prevents the glue boards from attaching to nearby surfaces whilst still allowing air flow and internal access.
The UK-manufactured hangers are used by both professional and amateur users and allow a wide range of pheromone brands to be used within the holders; including Entopest and Demi-Diamond pheromone pads.
Entopest Fly Bag
The Entopest fly bag is a product used to capture nuisance flies within external environments such as around gardens, paddocks and farms. Simply to use and extremely effective the trap will quickly attract nearby flies towards the internal contents; the design allows for a one-way entry from where the flies will not be able to escape.
Fly bags are used by both professional and amateur users and will often quickly result in large number of flies being attracted to the product; the trap holds 20,000+ flies. Internal bait and instructions are included and only water is required for use. The Entopest fly bag is manufactured within the UK.
Birdgo Pigeon Sanitiser
Pigeons are known to carry a wide range of diseases that are harmful to human health, this includes Cryptococcosis, Histoplasmosis and Psittacosis. Birdgo pigeon sanitiser is a product that is used by both professional and amateur users as a method to remove these harmful viruses and bacteria before removal of pigeon waste.
Birdgo pigeon sanitiser concentrate dilutes upto 50:1 and should be directly sprayed onto the top of guano layers before removal; a sprayer is required. Alternatively a ready-to-use RTU product is also available for treatment of small areas.
